Irresistible Me Hair Extensions

This post was sponsored by Irresistible Me! All opinions are mine alone. However only some of the hair in the photos was grown on my head. xxox Laura @ Cook, Wine and Thinker!

Happy Thursday!

I'm taking a quick detour from my recent UK travel posts today to talk about something I'm really excited about.

Don't worry, I have two more Travel Posts coming to you next week, but get excited because today I want to talk to you about something that has solved a serious problem of mine.

Guys, today I want to talk to you about clip on hair extensions

As you may remember from an older post, I have fine hair struggles. I have tons and tons of hair but it is SO fine that it is very hard to style.

We're talking flat, no curl, no wave, bad pony tails, lack luster hair that requires some intense styling to make it look fluffy for a single evening.

It also has a tendency to break very easily, so getting it all to grow to the same length is next to impossible, which means up dos and fishtail braids are an aggravating task.

When I was a kid, and very uncool, I had this theory that all the popular girls had the BEST hair. There was something about good hair that equaled popularity... Now that I'm an adult and know I'm awesome I realize that this is nonsense, but the good hair envy remains.

Still with me? All this is leading up to my new hair extensions from Irresistible Me.

Irresistible Me has real human hair extensions that clip in to your hair to give you more body and length.

So of course, I went for MAXIMUM volume (200g) and an incredible 22" length to give myself the most options for styling.

Clipping them in is a breeze. To do so you'll need:
  1. Your Hair Extensions
  2. A comb with a pick
  3. Clear elastics
Check out this buzzfeed post for a great step by step on how to put your hair extensions in. I followed this advice the first time I tried them and it only took me 30 minutes to put in all the hair - not bad for a newbie!

Even if I look a bit silly while I go through the process...

Once the hair is in, the difference is incredible, but the best part for me was the styling!

The fullness of my hair was amazing, the hair looked so natural and matched so beautifully to my natural colour.

Kris came home and was convinced I'd gone to the salon to have weave extensions sewn in.

No dice my love, I can take these out in a minute, no itchy scalp for me!

Anyway, back to the styling. As I mentioned in my fine hair post, curling has NEVER been an option for me, but these hair extensions can be heated and curled to perfection for a gorgeous evening look that is perfect for a night out or wedding.

I can't wait to rock these gorgeous locks

Of course, the first thing I did was play with fishtail braids! Having strong, same length hair, means so many intricate dos are now an option.

I'm so excited about all the new hair opportunities now open to me, just in time for the holiday season!

How do you rock your locks? Long? Short? Do you struggle from crazy fine hair like I do? Are extensions something you would consider?
